Why We Built This Site
Missouri gives the public access to many government records through court-access rules and the Missouri Sunshine Law, but Ray County records are not all kept in one place. The Circuit Clerk, Michelle Woods, handles court records for the Circuit Court. The civil/probate office processes civil cases, small claims, rent and possession, child support, dissolution, protection orders, and probate; the criminal/traffic office handles criminal and traffic cases. The Recorder of Deeds, Rhonda Kinnison, handles marriage licenses and recorded instruments, while Sunshine requests for county administrative records are routed to the County Clerk's office at the courthouse in Richmond.

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
